• Fly in (Air Safari) Masai Mara Safari Package: Safari starts from any of the coastal cities of Kenya – Mombasa, Diani, Malindi, or Watamu.
• This safari features Maasai Mara National Reserve. The safari departs Mombasa or Ukunda Airport in the morning and involves a flight over the Rift Valley. Flight to Masai Mara is expected to arrive in time for lunch, followed by a late afternoon game drive that introduces you to Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. You stay in Masai Mara for 2 nights in a lodge of your choice before flying back to Mombasa or Diani, Watamu, or Malindi. You may also end this safari in Nairobi by flying to Nairobi instead of going back to the beach resort.
• Stay at Ashnil Mara Camp in Masai Mara
• Day 1: Flight from Kenya Coast to Masai Mara Game Reserve
• You will be picked from your Mombasa hotel and be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mara which departs at 7.30 am. You will arrive in Mara at 10.15 am. Upon landing in the wild, you will be met by our driver/guide who will drive you to the lodge with an introductory game drive en route. Arrive for lunch at the camp – Ashnil Mara Camp, which is followed by relaxation by the pool area.
• Ashnil Mara Camp, with 50 luxury tents, is located in the Masai Mara National Reserve and close to the Mara River, famous for the wildebeest migration. The luxury Masai Mara Camp is arguably in one of the very best positions in the Masai Mara for game viewing and also provides the perfect setting to sit and relax at the end of an exciting day of game drives.
• It is nestled amongst a small forest overlooking the Mara River approximately 45 minutes from Keekorok and 30 minutes from Olkiombo airstrip. The Ashnil Mara Camp is best known for its stunning location, comfortable accommodation, excellent food, and good services.
• Later there will be another game drive starting at 4 pm, running till 6 pm. Overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp.
• Meals: Lunch & Dinner
• Day 2: Safaris in Maasai Mara – Full day game drive
• Spend this day with a full-day game drive in search of the big five and much other wildlife that inhabits this beautiful savannah land. This is a game drive that starts from 8.00 am till 4.00 pm. There will be a picnic lunch on the banks of the Mara River.
• Optional activities: Hot air balloon, a visit to Maasai village & guided nature walks
• Meals: Lunch & Dinner
• Day 3: Flight Mara – Transfer to Mombasa/Diani/Malindi/Nairobi (By flight)
• Have breakfast then depart with packed lunch for a final game drive as you head to the airstrip for a flight to Mombasa/Diani/Malindi. Upon arrival, you will be picked by our driver who transfers your hotel.
• Alternatively, have breakfast then have a game drive as you head to the airstrip for a flight to Nairobi departing at 11.15 a.m. You will arrive at 12.15 pm and be transferred to the Carnivore Restaurant for lunch. Thereafter be dropped at the hotel/airport.
